ESL Level 5 – ESLEO

Preparing for College and University Success

This advanced ESL course equips students with the essential skills and strategies to transition smoothly into college and university-level English courses, as well as other academic disciplines. Throughout the course, students will:

• Engage in debates and lead classroom workshops
• Read and interpret literary works and academic texts
• Write essays, narratives, and reports with clarity and coherence
• Apply critical thinking and research skills effectively
• Analyze and respond to print and media texts

By the end of this course, students will be fully prepared to handle complex English-language coursework and academic challenges.

ESL Level 4 – ESLDO

Building Fluency for Academic and Social Success

This intermediate ESL course helps students use English with increasing fluency and accuracy in both classroom and social settings. It also prepares them to participate in Canadian society with confidence. Students will:

• Develop oral presentation skills for discussions and seminars
• Strengthen reading and comprehension of grade-level texts
• Enhance writing skills by composing narratives, articles, and summaries
• Respond critically to a variety of print and media texts

Upon completion, students will have a strong foundation in English, preparing them for further academic success and real-world communication.
